“Three and a half minutes, however have you managed to not expire from boredom yet?” Tobirama murmured laconically as a thoroughly deadpan look overtook his expression. One certainly didn’t look at the near humorless and emotionless warrior Izuna had faced across the battlefield and thought there could be a sense of humor beneath all of that icy disdain but as this genjutsu was showing, that wasn’t necessarily the case. The man’s humor was dry and understated but it was also surprisingly subversive and devious.
Their playful banter back and forth might have been all sardonic words but the normal bite to their insults was lacking and instead was colored with an overtone of fondness and perhaps even…affection? Was that just Tobirama’s perception coloring the genjutsu or something else? Of course for him, this was all very real and there was genuineness to the man’s reactions which betrayed how far he’d fallen under the illusion’s sway.
He could feel the rapid beat of Izuna’s heart beneath his chest beneath his palm and he marveled at how a body so slim and seemingly weak could bring so much wanton destruction to the battlefield. But anyone who looked at Uchiha Izuna with his slender frame and thought him weak was a fool who deserved what was coming to them. Because he was all ripcord muscles and lean, long lines which held its own measure of strength without the extra burden of bulked up muscles. Lithe summarized Izuna very well and Tobirama found he very much approved of the body usually hidden beneath those awful baggy Uchiha clan clothes. Those rough fingers splayed out across the slim chest for a moment before shifting ever so slightly so he could run the pad of his thumb across the Uchiha’s nipple teasingly as they kissed.
When he finally pulled back from that heated and passionate kiss, Tobirama carried with him the lingering traces of Izuna on his tongue and in his mouth. It was borderline addicting in its own way.
“I think I can puzzle that out on my own.” He whispered roughly and that long-fingered hand skated down the length of Izuna’s torso until he met the crisp material of his pants. But instead of pausing there, that wandering hand continued down further until the heel of his palm was pressing lightly against Izuna’s length where it pressed hard and insistent against the front of his pants. It was a bold move but one perhaps you’d expect out of a warrior like Tobirama. He was cagey about engaging on the battlefield but once he decided to go on the attack, he did so with a fearless sort of assuredness. The fact that that boldness translated to the bedroom wasn’t too surprising when you thought about it.
The red color of Tobirama’s eyes was lost in the near darkness now but he met the Uchiha’s gaze unflinchingly even as they both explored the other’s bodies under the cover of night. Already, the moon was beginning to peak out over the trees and soon enough might be strong enough to cast shadows but for now, they were trapped in some strange limbo between sunset and moonrise where the only real illumination could be found in the occasional flicker of a firefly.
